By accessing or using ServFin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you're using ServFin on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
ServFin provides browser-based financial reconciliation tools including accounts receivable reconciliation, commission calculation, payroll reconciliation, and accounts payable reconciliation.
Our core reconciliation features process your data entirely within your web browser. Your financial files (Excel, CSV) are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. This is a fundamental part of our privacy-first approach.
With an account, you can save commission templates, view calculation history, and access your work across devices. Account data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Use a strong, unique password and enable additional security features when available.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You may delete your account at any time through your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.
ServFin offers a free tier with limited features. Free accounts have access to basic reconciliation tools with usage limits as specified on our pricing page.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Prices are in USD and don't include applicable taxes. We may change prices with 30 days notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Monthly subscriptions end at the current billing period. Annual subscriptions may be eligible for pro-rated refunds within the first 30 days.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
You may use ServFin for legitimate business purposes, including reconciling financial data, calculating commissions, and generating reports for your organization.
You may not: (a) use the service for any illegal purpose, (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, (c) interfere with or disrupt the service, (d) use automated means to access the service beyond normal use, (e) resell or redistribute the service without authorization.
Each plan has specified limits on features and usage. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary restrictions or require an upgrade to continue using the service.
ServFin, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or content.
You retain all rights to your data. The files you process through ServFin remain your property. We claim no ownership over your financial data or the results of your reconciliations.
If you provide suggestions or feedback about ServFin, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve our services.
ServFin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
ServFin is a tool for data reconciliation and calculation. It does not constitute financial, accounting, or legal advice. You should verify results and consult with qualified professionals for important financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of ServFin.
You may stop using ServFin and close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms, is harmful to other users, or is harmful to our business interests.
Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Some provisions of these terms will survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ServFin shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
You agree to resolve any disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ServFin at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that may affect your use of the service.
We regularly update ServFin with new features and improvements. Some features may be added, modified, or removed as we evolve the product.
We will notify you of material changes to these terms via email or through the service at least 30 days before they take effect, except where changes are required by law.
